Personality
One word: F U N!
White Knight is well, a goober. He is silly and playful. He loves to fetch mice, feathers, pens, stuffed animals....to be honest we haven't found something he won't fetch.
He is so loving and likes to take over a spot with a HUGE plop. This includes keyboards (while one is typing), laps, chairs, you name it.
White Knight makes the most interesting sounds. Whether it be his ALC sounding "meow" or his puffed up pant. If you hear an interesting sound, you can almost bet it is coming out of him!!
Health
White Knight is completely healthy having received a check up and all his shots prior to coming to our house. On June 1 and December 4, White Knight visited local feline cardiologists and walked away with a healthy heart!
Awards
White Knight entered his very first cat show in 2011 - Wine Country Cat Club - Plymouth, CA, on March 26 and 27, 2011. White Knight's debut as a kitten was quite impressive winning 2nd Best Speciality Cat (Stephanie Smith) ; 2nd Best All Breed (Linda Kay Ashley) and 5th Best All Breed Cat (Richard Bailey).
Southern California ExoTICA Cat Club - May 21 and 22 - in Arcadia, CA.
White Knight's first show as an adult was the Arcadia show in May 2011. White Knight did very well placing 5th Best Speciality Cat (Carol Barton) and 7th Best All Breed (Sandi Mattingly). With these two finals and a win in each color category, White Knight is now a CHAMPION! Goooooooo White Knight!!
Americas Finest Felines - Kat Knappers Cat Club and So Cal ExoTICA Cat Club - July 30 and 31
White Knight's second show as an adult was a big hit. White Knight placed 7th Best All Breed Cat (Bobbie Tullo), 7th Best All Breed Cat (Vickie Fisher) and 9th Best All Breed Cat (Adriana Kajon).
Jazzy Cat Cat Show - October 1 and 2
White Knight won color and class in every ring and then walked away with a 4th Best Speciality Cat (Canie Brooks).
White Knight is now a Double Grand Champion!! Booyah Roger!!

Name
Ounce = our cattery name named after the majestic snow leopard (also known as "ounce")
Yossarian = named after the ficitional character and protagonist in Joseph Heller's novel Catch-22. In the novel, Yossarian is a 28-year-old Air Force Captain who is stationed on the island of Pianosa during WWII. Like the original, our Yossarian believes the world is out to get him or at least his humans are and lives by the motto "live forever or die in the attempt" or maybe it is "eat often, but sleep more" (see personality below).

Markings
Yossarian is a Brown (Black) Spotted Bengal. His ground color is warm brown with rosetted, mostly arrowheads, spots. His coat is so thick and soft that I don't mind at all when he face plants me with a full body rub. His coat is also so glittered that he glitters indoors! :)
Birthday
Yossarian was born on April 21, 2011 at Ounce Cattery. He has one brother named Holden who is a Seal Lynx Point Spotted Bengal.

Parents & Pedigree
His mom/dam is SimplySimes LesisMore of Ounce (SBT 042909 067) and dad/sire QGCH Lucian (SBT 092608 045).

Personality
Yossarian is the first cat out of our cattery that is - well - shy and skeptical. He is most at ease when he has a little place of his own that is quiet and controlled. We find him often in baskets or paper shopping bags or boxes. Although his favorite place is curled up in his toy bin (see below).

Not one who likes being picked up, he does love plopping down on the keyboard or out of the blue lying down in my lap to get attention. Like I would need that, his purr is so loud the neighbors can hear him (not that I would've expected anything else from Zelda's son!).
He lives with his daddy, Lucian and can be found grooming him frequently.
Health
Yossarian is completely healthy having received a check up and all his shots onsite. Yossarian is scheduled to visit our local feline cardiologist in March.

Awards
Yossarian entered his very first show on October 1 and 2. Like his father, Yossarian has tremendous car sickness and while the Jazzy Cat Cat Show at Cal Expo should have been the ideal show, Yossarian wasn't having any of it. He did receive many color ribbons, but would not open up to let the judges see just how pretty he is.
